The SYR water level limiter 932.2 is used to protect boilers in hot water heating systems against burning out due to a lack of water. Installation is mandatory for closed heating systems in accordance with DIN EN 12828 with a heating output of more than 300 kW. Installation is mandatory for boilers with a lower heating output if it cannot be ruled out that impermissible heating may occur in the event of a lack of water. In addition, the SYR water level limiter 932.2 can be used wherever water level-dependent electrical switching processes are to be triggered and a test option is required without lowering the water level. The SYR water level limiter 932.2 is designed as a device with magnetic transmission of the float movement to a microswitch and enables testing without lowering the water level. The electrical switching unit can be rotated through 360° and can be replaced without emptying the system. The SYR water level limiter 932.2 locks after being switched off. Once the fault has been rectified, the system can be switched on again using the release button on the water level limiter.
