The SYR diaphragm safety valve 1915 is used to protect against pressure overshoot in closed hot water heating systems in accordance with DIN EN 12828. The connection size is determined according to the heating output of the heat generator to be protected. It is important to note the maximum permissible operating pressure of the system and the resulting maximum response pressure of the safety valve. In Germany, the maximum permissible response pressure for the systems mentioned is 3 bar. For systems with higher heating outputs, 3 safety valves are permitted per heat generator. The SYR diaphragm safety valve 1915 can be used as an equipment part with a safety function in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC for fired or otherwise heated pressure vessels for generating steam or hot water in accordance with Art. 3 Paragraph 1.2 up to Category IV. The SYR diaphragm safety valve 1915 is designed with an upstream seat seal that is separate from the diaphragm. It can be lifted using the rotary handle. The seat and seal can be cleaned after removing the upper part without changing the response pressure. The housing is made of dezincification-resistant, approved gunmetal alloy (DN 40 and DN 50). The spring cap, diaphragm and other internal parts are made of high-temperature and age-resistant, rubber-elastic plastic, the spring is made of corrosion-protected spring steel wire. When ordering the SYR diaphragm safety valves 1915 with special settings, please note the desired article number with .XXX and note the desired pressure protection. All versions with a setting of 0.8 to 6 bar are EC type-tested (CE marking), only the settings 2.5 bar and 3 bar have the component marking!
