Long text
The SYR system separator STBA 400 is a compact safety valve in accordance with DIN EN 1717, Group B, with controlled separation (three-chamber system). It corresponds to the installation type BA defined there and can therefore be used for protection up to and including liquid category 4. Its task is to prevent non-potable water from being sucked back or flowing back into the public drinking water network. The SYR system separator STBA 400 is an outlet valve with a hose connection and covers a wide range of applications (e.g. chemical cleaning equipment, printing works, chemical and food companies, laboratory and medical technology) as well as the filling of heating systems. The SYR system separator STBA 400 contains all the components specified in DIN EN 1717 and is designed as a 3-chamber system with controllable upstream, medium and downstream pressure zones. It is also equipped with an integrated dirt trap. Each pressure zone can be fitted with test valves (accessory 6625.15.902), allowing the safety devices to be checked by measuring the pressure. The system separator consists of 2 non-return valves (RV) connected in series, which are equipped with a ventilated central zone. If no water is drawn off, the inlet and outlet valves and the drain valve are closed. If there is back suction, the pressure on the inlet side drops. The drain valve opens at the latest when the differential pressure between the pre-pressure and medium-pressure chamber has dropped to 0.14 bar.
