The SYR pressure reducer 6243 with gunmetal housing is used to regulate the pressure in industrial systems and devices with media in accordance with the specified specification. As a pressure reducer, it regulates the pressure in the downstream system section by closing when the pressure increases. The SYR pressure reducer 6243 is equipped as a relieved insert valve with a coaxially arranged dirt trap (mesh size: 0.25 mm). It contains an output pressure indicator that shows the set pressure. An additional pressure gauge is therefore not required. The spring cap can be rotated 360° so that the output pressure indicator is always visible. The functional parts of the system are arranged in a cartridge that can be completely replaced without removing the fitting and without special tools, while maintaining the same output pressure. When the cartridge is dismantled, the set output pressure is retained. The installation position can be chosen as desired thanks to the special cartridge design.
