The SYR safety group 324 is used to protect closed, electrically heated, wall-mounted drinking water heaters (TWE) up to 200 l capacity, in accordance with DIN 1988-200; DIN 4753-1 and DIN EN 1488. It is a tried and tested and elegant compact fitting that includes all the components required for protection, such as a shut-off valve, non-return valve and diaphragm safety valve. The safety valve protects the downstream TWE by opening automatically and thus prevents the permissible operating pressure from being exceeded. The non-return valve prevents heated drinking water from flowing back. In addition, the SYR safety group 324 has a pressure reducer in accordance with DIN EN 1567 installed upstream, which reduces an excessive inlet pressure to the required system pressure. If the inlet pressure fluctuates, uncontrolled dripping of the safety valve is prevented. The SYR safety group 324 consists of a high-gloss chrome-plated pressed brass housing. Claw ring seals enable a problem-free connection to the TWE. The SYR safety group 324 is equipped with a component-tested safety valve, shut-off valve, pressure gauge plug, backflow preventer, test nozzle, pressure reducer, funnel siphon with rosette and chrome-plated connection accessories. A pressure reducer can be retrofitted.
